General notes
1. PH (Potential Hydrogen)
Hair and Skin PH is betweeen 4.5 and 5.5. It is the goal PH for every product that has to be applied on hair or skin and not be rinsed out.
The neutral PH (pure water) is around 7. Below 7 the solution is acidic and above 7 the solution is basic.
Aloe Vera PH is between 4.5 and 5.5 which is the PH of the hair and skin.
Clay soil PH is from 5.5 to 7.
ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) PH is from 2.9 to 3.3 .
Vinegar PH is from 2.5 to 2.9 .
Lemon PH is from 2.4 to 2.6 .
2. Dosage : glycerin, essential oil, vitamin E, protein
Some solutions (glycerin, essential oil, vitamin E, protein, preservative) have to follow a given concentration related to the global preparation. This concentration ranges in general between 0.1% and 12% of the whole solution.
Glycerin : dosage from 2% to 7% of the preparation.
Essential oils : dosage from 0.5% to 12% of the whole mixture according to the target usage.
Vitamin E : dosage from 0.1% to 0.5% of the preparation.
Protein : dosage from 0.5% to 5% of the mixture.
1 tbsp (table spoon) = 15 ml.
1 tsp (tea spoon) = 5 ml.
1 drop = 0,05ml ou 0,059ml ou 0,061ml ou 0,082ml according to the dropper.
1ml = 20 to 35 drops according to the dropper.
0,5ml = 10 to 17,5 drops according to the dropper.
Hence, for 100ml of solution, for a dosage at 5%, we need 5ml that is 1 tsp
that is around 100 drops.
Hence, for 100ml of solution, for a dosage at 1%, we need 1ml that is 1/5 tsp
that is around 20 drops.
Hence, for 100ml of solution, for a dosage at 0.5%, we need 0.5ml that is 1/10 tsp
that is around 10 drops.
Hence, for 100ml of solution, for a dosage at 0.1%, we need 0.1ml that is 1/50 tsp
that is around 2 drops.
