In August 2023, it is measuring 16,5354 inches (42cm), which represents a growth of 4,33071 inches (11cm), when actually the double was expected. Onto my daughter. In August 2021, her hair was measuring 15.35 inches (39cm). In August 2023, it is  measuring 15,748 inches (40cm) , which means almost no growth. He hair growth is experiencing a plateau. Also, my daughter is very active and as a child a bit careless.  The measuring is done on natural hair straighten with hand and not heat. This induces an error gap from 0,393701 to 1,1811 inches (1 to 3 cm ). The hair growth slow-down or plateau seems to be around 15,748 inches (40cm) for our family with our current routine. August 2020 and February 2021 - Trim and Length Check

EN (english) August 2020 and February 2021 - Trim and Length Check As promise, every six months I give you an update about my hair growth after a good trim as well as my daughter's. My hair is growing regularly. In august 2020, it was measuring 8,66 inches (22cm) which represents a growth of 1,97 inches (5cm) in six months. Recently, in february 2021, my hair were measuring 10,24 inches (26cm) which is a growth of 1,57 inches (4cm) in six months. I don't use heat on my hair (no brushing, no straigthening). Recently, in february 2021, her hair was measuring 13,77 inches (35cm) that represents 1,18 inches (3cm) of growth in six months. Her hair seems to be growing slowly. This can be due to the fact that the measurement on non straightened hair is more and more unprecise as the hair...

February 2020 - Trim and Length Check

EN (english)  February 2020 - Trim and Length Check  As promise, every six months I will give you an update about my hair growth after a good trim as well as my daughter's.  So, I trimmed my hair lately on (15th) february 2020. It was my first trim since my big chop 5 months ago  where my hair was measuring 5inches (13cm).  I also did a length check. Although my hair wasn't really stretched, I measured about 6,69inches (17cm) overall. So, I retained almost all my expected length (1cm per month or  2,36inches -6cm- for 6 months),  considering that I trimmed around 0,39inch (1cm). Hence, my current length after 1 year and 6 months of growth is 6,69inches or 17cm (when 7inches or 18cm was expected).  Onto my daughter.  I trimmed her hair lately on (29th) february 2020 and I also did a length check.  Although her hair wasn't really stretched, I measured about 12,2inches (31cm) overall. Her  last length check was ...

My Big Chop and Length Check

Image
EN (English)  My Big Chop and Length Check Hi there! I finally did big chop my remaining relaxed ends on the 22nd of September 2019 after about 13 months of transitioning. I am so happy! I am going to wear my hair "out" more often now. Can't wait to show you what I'm doing with it. I did my length check on damp hair and my hair is about 5 inches long for the most part. == Note 1 - My hair actual length is approximately 5 inches (13cm) after 13 months of transition (measured in september 2019). My hair hence grow for about 1cm per month which is a little less than half an inch (1,27cm). Note 2 - My daughter monthly hair growth is approximately the same rate as mine (1cm per month). After 8 months of a hair care routine, I measured her hair (may 2019) and waited for 3 months to measure it again (august 2019). Her hair is currently about 11 inches (27cm) long -measured in august 2019-. Her hair was stuck at about 8,6 inches (22cm) before I started...
