February 2020 - Trim and Length Check 


As promise, every six months I will give you an update about my hair growth after a good trim as well as my daughter's. 

So, I trimmed my hair lately on (15th) february 2020. It was my first trim since my big chop 5 months ago where my hair was measuring 5inches (13cm). I also did a length check. Although my hair wasn't really stretched, I measured about 6,69inches (17cm) overall. So, I retained almost all my expected length (1cm per month or 2,36inches -6cm- for 6 months), considering that I trimmed around 0,39inch (1cm). Hence, my current length after 1 year and 6 months of growth is 6,69inches or 17cm (when 7inches or 18cm was expected). 

Onto my daughter. I trimmed her hair lately on (29th) february 2020 and I also did a length check. Although her hair wasn't really stretched, I measured about 12,2inches (31cm) overall. Her last length check was six months ago and her hair was measuring 10,6inches (27cm). So, she retained 2/3 of the expected length (1cm per month or 2,36inches -6cm- for 6 months). This can be explained by the fact that I trim her hair every 3 months because it starts knoting a lot. So, she is already loosing around 0.78inch (2cm) due to the trim, considering that I trimmed around 0,39inch (1cm) each 3 months. On the other hand, she is going to the swimming pool every week, thereby her hair dries more and creates more knots and therefore breakage. Anyway, she still retained length. Hence, her current length after 6 months of growth is 12,2inches or 31cm (when 13inches or 33cm was expected). 

Next length check will be on august 2020.

Planning Journée, Activités, Suivi Scolaire, Choix Métier, Cycle de la Vie  FR (French) Planning Journée Une journée c'est 24 heures pour tout le monde. Qu'est-ce qui fait donc la différence? L'organisation, l'environnement, les méthodes de travail, les capacités de chacun, ce que l'on fait (ou ce que l'on est capable de faire) . Ainsi, planifier notre journée est très importante. Bien sûr, tous les jours ne seront pas identiques mais doivent avoir un "modèle" plutôt similaire. En effet, chaque jour, tout le monde a besoin de dormir (suffisamment), de manger (aussi sainement que possible) et aussi d'être actif (manuellement et intellectuellement). Dormir (8h à 10h), Manger (2h) et Bouger (2h) ou se Déplacer un minimum prennent environ déjà la moitié de la journée. Manger et Bouger pour sa Santé  FR (french)  Novembre 2023 - Manger et Bouger pour sa Santé  Manger Boire de l'eau à volonté. Manger au moins 5 fruits et légumes par jour .  Avoir une alimentation variée et équilibrée .  Respecter la pyramide alimentaire des proportions des différents types d'aliments.     Entretenir son microbiote grâce à une alimentation variée et équilibrée mais aussi en consommant des aliments riches en ferments (fromage, yaourt, vinaigre, choux). Faire attention aux portions . Pour la taille des portions se référer aux éléments de mesures suivants : tasse ou verre, cuillère à soupe, cuillère à café, taille du poing ou de la paume de main.  Manger doucement (au moins 20 minutes). Manger à sa faim. Faire des modèles de repas équilibrés pour le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner, le diner et le goûter.
