August 2021 - Trim and Length Check

As promise, every six months I give you an update about my hair growth after a good trim as well as my daughter's.

My hair is growing regularly. In february 2021, it was measuring 10,24 inches (26cm). In august 2021, it was measuring 12.2 inches (31cm), which represents a growth of 1,97 inches (5cm) in six months (when 2,36 inches -6cm- of growth was expected).

Onto my daughter. In february 2021, her hair was measuring 13,77 inches (35cm). In august 2021, her hair was measuring 15.35 inches (39cm), which represents a growth of 1,57 inches (4cm) in six months (when 2,36 inches -6cm- of growth was expected). I did a blow dry on her hair for the length check but there is not much a difference when straightening the hair with just your finger, around 0.39inch (1cm) of difference.

The next length check will be in february 2022. I may not blow dry the hair.

Dormir (8h à 10h), Manger (2h) et Bouger (2h) ou se Déplacer un minimum prennent environ déjà la moitié de la journée. Eat and Move for your Health  EN (english) November 2023 - Eat and Move for your Health Eat Drink water as much as you need. Eat at least 5 fruits and vegetables per day. Have a diversified and balanced diet .  Follow the Food Pyramid as a guide for proportions of the different food types.    Take care of your microbiome with a diversified and balanced diet but also by eating fermented food (cheese, yogurt, vinegar, cabbage). Be wary of your portions . For portions size, you can refer to the following measuring elements: cup or glass, table spoon, tea spoon, fist size or hand palm size.  Eat slowly (at least 20 minutes). Eat until you are full.  Have models of balanced meals for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Have at least 3 different models per category.  Evaluate the quality of your diet each week. Body Care - Hair Care - Summary EN (english) November 2023 - Body Care - Hair Care - Summary  Body Care Daily washing  For the daily washing, you can use shower gel or soap superfatted preferably. The shower gel is more gentle for the skin and less drying.  Among the superfatted (Surgras) shower gels in the market, we have: - Roger Cavailles Gel Surgras  - Cadum Gel Surgras Beurre de Karite - LaRoche Posay Lipikar Gel/Creme-Douche Surgras - Avene Gel Surgras  - CeraVe  cleansing gel Tips for Soaps - You can transform soaps into pseudo gels by diluting or dissolving a little soap chunk in tepid water, then you can put the solution in a small container with a suitable cap, eventually you can add a couple of vitamin E drops. Liquid soap mixture : 20g soap, 100ml tepid (lukewarm) water, vitamin E.
